The subject for the BBC Countryfile Photographic Competition 2009 is "Wild and Wonderful." The theme is open to individual interpretation but entries must have the natural world at their heart. You might choose to photo British wildlife (which includes animals and plants), landscapes or even the weather. Pictures of domestic animals (eg pets and livestock) and cultivated plants are not eligible. Images of British wildlife in captivity must be declared as such.

The competition closes at midnight on Friday 4 September 2009.

6) Entrants must not be professional photographers and, for the purposes of this competition, a professional photographer will be considered to be someone who makes more than half their annual income from the sale of their photographs.

Hey: i am slighty confused what they mean by this : 3) Entrants can submit up to four photoseither as prints or slides, in colour or black and white. Electronic images cannot be accepted. Can someone tell me

Welcome to TP!

I entered this last year. Basically it means you can't email them your entry. You'll need to get it printed/ mounted as a slide and then send them the prints/mounts by post.
