Bluetooth Peripherals (keyboard/mouse). Do you switch them off when not in use? Does it make that much difference to battery life?

Just bought a Logitech Pop Icon keyboard which comes with 2xAAA batteries. It claims a battery life of 3 years but doesn't state whether leaving it permanently switched on affects that (didn't seem to make any real difference on my MX Keys one which is charged via USB)

Always leave mine switched on. No issues with battery life.

My keyboard and mouse are left switched on all the time, battery life is really good although they are topped up about once every three - 4 months.

My Logitech keyboard goes to sleep when I turn off the computer. I guess to save battery life when not in use.

When I turn the PC on again I have to tap a key on the keyboard and wait a couple of seconds to wake it up before I can use it.

I have a Logitech Ergo K860, which is powered by a couple of batteries - It gets left on all the time, and I've never had an issue with battery life (it's long enough that I can't recall if I've changed them once or twice since new)

Switch off overnight or wwhen not using for long periods - doesn't make sense to use power when not using the equipment. :)

I have a Logitech keyboard and mouse and they are never switched off and battery life is good enough not to notice.

It's my work laptop and it's never turned off

All of mine power down after a period of non-use. In fact, looking at this keyboard, it doesn't even have a power switch!
