Battery grips for 40D, no shutter button?

Hi everyone, been looking at grips available for the 40D today and am a bit confused! Do they have a shutter button for shooting in a portrait orientation? I'd have thought this would be an important feature, i know the grops for the 400D has one. Any help appreciated

the proper canon grip has the button, but i have also read some others don't. cant remember which or where ***. sorry.

my brother got a cheap one for his 350, that never had any buttons what so ever
