Batch resize with extras needed

I currently use FastStone to batch resize my images.. used for years... It lets me add variables as text to the picture... one of them is width/height but it only uses the new sizes after resize.. I need some software that lets me add original file size

I could resize and add without making any changes to the size then resize without the text.. but dont fancy doing it twice when i am using it almost daily

Have you tried PhotoMechanic? I'm not sure if its good for text but it's what I use for any kind of resizing.

batch resize? But anyway no it doesnt add text onto the pic.. I have PM ..ta anyway.. cant find anything

Yeah I have used it a lot for batch resizing. Never needed the text though, sorry!

Yes, PM can add text to a picture during batch resize.

Add any variables you like using the watermark feature while batch resizing via Save Photos as....

As a very quick example, I added "Filename: {fbas}" and "Original size: {height} x {width}", along with a logo to an image resized to 600px...

UPDATE: Yes.. having never used SAVE AS and always saved from iptc screens.. i just presumed it was save one not batch ..Again thanks sorted and yes i do feel silly knowing i already had the software
