Could anyone enlighten me on how to convert a batch of raw files using cs4. I have got alot of junior golf shots that my sons club want to use on a slide show on a large screen to use at a presentation evening . I need to convert to jpg, srgb, and apply unsharp mask before saving, file size doesn't want to be massive either. Don't fancy doing one at a time so any help would be much appreciated :D

Easy way togo to File / Automate / Batch.

If you want to use unsharpen mask, set it up as an action first.
When you run the batch, you can play (select) the action(s) you want. Can iether convert a whole folder or just selected files.

Alternativly, use ACR to load all raw files, and save all as Jpeg.

I have played with this before, but how do I get usm into the actions list ?? Thanks for your advise

Load in a image

Goto action, make a new action (create new action, next to trashbin), it automaticaly puts in record mode.

Then goto filter, sharpen, unsharpen mask, select the sliders as you'd like.

When you select ok, you will see it saves in the action set you created an Unsharp Mask. Now press stop. Thats it, action saved

Now you can use the action in the automate batch function
