batch edit EXIF of CR2's & NEF's

I have a load of CR2 and NEF files from canon and nikon cameras from a wedding but the capture time is wrong on a whole chunk of the images.

This means its a pain when it comes to importing them to lightroom to edit in-order of capture.

So, anyone know of any tools that can batch change the capture time of a load of images' EXIF data?

Hour is fine, do you know if it can batch 'time-shift' a load of pics?
 
Been there, I always make sure both cameras time clocks are in sync now.

Make sure that the time in the exif is the time the pic is taken and not the time the file was changed/downloaded, had that problem before.

I used a program that was mentioned, on here will seach and try to find it.
 
Cheers all - Lightroom does exactly what I want except the other camera was a whole year out!

Lightroom will only batch edit by hour, not year.

If anyone knows an app that can do the year that'd be great :)
 
Well, it's a bit long winded, but if you change your catalogue settings to write to xmp you'll get an additional xmp file for each file in the catalogue. If you open these files in notepad you can then manually edit the date/time for the image.

Not exactly ideal I'll admit.

I need to change 435 images so doing it manually really isn't option.. (or at least very very last resort!) :)
 
Exifier is supposed to do it, but I have no idea if it works.
 
ive tried that but gutted, it doesn't recognise the raw file formats. . !
