Hello

I'm going to try producing a phonebook of a holiday I went on last year - just for family...

I've decided to try Jessops as they get good reviews and have a few offers at the moment.

How do I get my edited photos from LR5 to the Jessops software ? I'm guessing you have to do some sort of export (wishing Apple had continued with Aperture)

many thanks

you must have a very big family to need a phonebook. You could either export them individually from LR using the File->export dialog, or else create the book within the book module in LR

1). edit the images in LR as you want them to look .. take care at this stage and make sure that you are happy with them
2). name a new collection in LR
3). put the images that you want in that collection …… just drag them into it …. check that you have all the images in that collection that you want
4). Create a new folder on your desktop, (Jessops).
5). Export the images from LR to that folder .. checking the sizes etc., - you can do this in bulk
6). Upload the images from the Desktop folder, (Jessops) …… to the Jessops software on the net and design the book that you want using Jessops software

Check the images at each stage to make sure you are happy with them, and text etc., and design

I think jessops software just wants JPEG images doesn't it? So just export as jpeg's as boyfalldown said using the export functionality of LR.

oops sorry meant phonebook !

thanks for the replies - I don't like the built in Book thing in LR so wanted to try something else ...

I will try the suggestions as above - thanks folks

Ha! Don't you love auto correct!
