Choice of lenses is the same. Its the D40 that has a smaller choice of lenses.

That's a good deal, but not an astounding one. I've seen two or three D70 bodies on the bay at that price buy it now recently.

I guess it's the knock-on effect of the D40/X

Awesome cameras though, if you're into Nikon
