Been asked by a local sports club for some help getting a promotional banner made at a competitive price (not for profit). They want to produce an approx 4-5m x 1m banner to hang or attach to the wall to promote their new name and logo. A local outfit have quoted them £280 for a 5m x 1m rigid foam-backed product (not sure what it is exactly), but this seems high and is beyond their budget. Anyone have any recommended suppliers with a quick turnaround and more competitive price?

Also, they've just sent me their name/logo that they want on the banner as a bmp file and it's less than 400KB. It's a very simple design - black writing and primitive character drawing - but I'm wondering will it even be possible to upscale to banner size effectively... :thinking: Any thoughts appreciated.
 
Make sure it's for outside use as there is a difference.
 
I just got a 6 foot by 3 foot full colour banner hemmed and eyelets for About £40.00
I think their largest go well over 100 metres.

They need only for indoor use (a gym), but is quality increase for outdoor use banners worth the extra you think?

Thanks for that. They might be better off getting a couple of banners at that size, now that I think of it. Will suggest it to them :thumbs:
 
Try Macro Art.. it's been a little over four years since I last worked with them.. at the time they were printing the long FIFA wavey banners for the Berlin World Cup (I think the longest was 1500m)..
