Bank transfers

can anyone tell me how long bank transfers usually take i've read on the net that it can be 3-4 days but a lot of folks on here seem to use them and the money goes through within minutes or hours.

mine is ment to take minuets but for some reason i am having a mjor problem and have had my account stopped 3 times... now going into said bank with more id than need to get it done..

depends on the bank.. a lot now have instant transfers however some (santander i think for example?) do take 3-4 days to clear.

Thanks guys i don't know which bank it's coming from so i guess i'll give it a couple of days.
