Banging my head on the wall with Lr Classic. Help?

Getting annoyed now.

Yesterday I was sorting marked coloured RAW files out in Lightroom Classic.

A few of the photos suddenly dissappeared and I still have no clue where they went to. They're not in the recycle bin, nor can I find them by searching them.
Thankfully I can recreate the RAW file as I still have the originals files.

Today I've been opening old catalogs to find them, only to go back to my current one and it decided to corrupt. It managed to repair itself and I got the catalog back. But now it's in a new folder called 'Corrupt Catalogs'.

I need to start from fresh and sort my folders out. But I don't know how to do it?

Any advice?
 
I also suggest Lightroom Queen.

It has some free guides which cover catalogues.

I suppose the simplest solution is just to open the last "back-up" you did prior to the catalog getting corrupted.
