South-West England Banbury - Engagement Shoot

Hi All,

Im meeting a couple in Banbury, Oxfordshire this weekend to take their engagement photos. It's half way for us both and I dont know the area too well. Does anyone know of any good locations that could be used for such a shoot?

I was originally going to use a derelict castle in Wallingford, but we're now looking to come a bit further North. I've had a scan on google, but nothing stands out. Any thoughts / ideas?

You could head out a little further for Upton House or Broughton Castle for indoor photos or weather dependant a couple of parks in Banbury, Spiceball and People's Park if you are looking for outside shots.

The obvious one is the statue at Banbury cross but its on a busy road so always lots of folks about.

In the end, we ended up meeting in a lovely little village called Hanwell. There was plenty of little places to capture images and luckily the couple were open to some climbing, and this turned out to be one of our favourites...
