Two weeks ago whilst on a cruise we stopped in Corsica(Ajaccio) where I saw a photographer using a balloon to take aerial photographs. The balloon measuring about 2 metres in diameter was attached to a console by cable. The console being attached to the photographer`s waist was used to remotely control both the balloon and the camera which was suspended from it. very interesting.
