i have 2 mate, id like a case if there is one, but like i said, it would need to fit everything

As master trinity says it depends on how much kit you have also what you want to do with it?
I have three bags, which I have collected over the past three years.

The first was a Lowepro computrek AW which is a rucksack and was bought because of it size and dimensions.
I was going on holiday and required a bag that would fit in overhead luggage, and wasn't too heavy for any weight restrictions.
Each Airline differs however the lightest I have come a cross is 6 Kilos, which isn't a lot of weight when you check in a few lenses, flash and some filters.
The second was a lowepro Vertex 300, which is simply to contain all my kit whilst at home and also to be used for landscape expedition - this holds numerous lenses, flash, filters and the accessories that come with it all.
Finally, I have just bought a crumpler bag, which will suffice when heading out into town on an urban shoot, it will take a body plus a couple of lenses and even a laptop if required.
The added bonus is that its a messenger bag and doesn't look like a camera bag.

So to answer your question yes there will be bag which will suit your needs, you just have to decide what your needs are?

I got my crumpler through this deal here
Which was a bonus.....I would suggest you have a look at the bags in Jessops and also Calumet before you purchase off line.....

Hope this helps.......

Cheers,
Richard;)

thanks mate, it would be used to carry my d5000, 2 lenses and a tripod from place to place, and storage at home, so an all rounder really, i like the look of the cases but maybe a bag would be ok, id like it to carry everything so i havent got a bag for the lenses and body and one for the tripod

Which 2 lenses do you have? Are you planning on getting any more in the future? My suggestion would be a LowePro Mini Trekker (or whatever its replacement's called). It'll probably be way to big for your current kit but there'll almost certainly be more kit to go in it before too very long! The tripod won't fit inside the bag (rucksack type) but there are straps and a pocket on the outside specifically for the purpose.

I carry a D5000, a 55-200 lens, a Nikon compact, my purse, my e-reader, and the tripod laid over the top with the flap down over it in a Crumpler Prettyboy XXL - it isn't big or bulky, and isn't typically a camera bag - so that makes me very comfortable if I'm going somewhere I'm not used to.

hope that helps. (and I have my eye on a Kata PR 440! :))

It must be said I generally carry my tripod by its handle strap, I only attach it to a bag if I am trekking some distance, I think the majority of lowepro bags come with some facility to attach it to your bag.
As far as taking it abroad, it is usually wrapped in a towel and placed the main bag for the hold.

Lowepro are pretty good, have a look through the web site and see what you fancy then go and have a look, try it on your back before splashing your cash.
I was initially trying to find a bag that would accommodate my 17 " laptop, however this was futile as my laptop is huge- i struggled to even find a normal laptop bag to accommodate it !!
