Bag or case or both and which and where?! NEX-C3

i think the title says it all...however:

Just got my first camera, a sony Nex-c3 inc twin kit lens but at the moment it just lives on my living room table, not good i guess, especially as our cats are taking a lot of interest in it..

so i was thinking maybe a protective case for the camera, then i thought maybe a bag so the lenses are protected too which would be handy for carrying the kit when i'm heading into town (to ponse around *cough* i mean do some street photography). But then i dont want to look like a photographer do i (especially as this is week 1 into my photography journey) so perhaps what i need is something trendy, you know 'cool' which would also carry my ipad, perhaps..

Hmmm advice,ideas,recommendations of products & providers desperately required.

You don't mention a budget, so I'd say a Billingham Hadley Pro - my favourite bag.

thank you both - from what i see i prefer the billingham traditional style of bag, although my budget is only £80. Wandered into town today, had hands on with lowe slinbgag 100 - crappy finish and £50.00 so forget that..

Hhmmm billingham style of bag or slingbag - tempted with the kata 3n1 11 but maybe a traditional bag would be better.

so i ordered the kata 3N1 11 @ £75 from Carmarthern Cameras in Wales. Lets see how that goes.! No more camera related purchases this month (lost a train ticket this weekend so just had to buy another, bye bye £100 boooo)..
