Synology DS1010+ w/ 5x Samsung 2Tb in RAID5
Icy Box IB-RD4320StUS2 w/ 2x Samsung 2Tb in RAID0
LG BH10LS30 BD-RE/DVD-RW

primary storage is the Synology, plugged into one of it's rear USB sockets is the IcyBox and does a nightly backup. New RAW sets and LR cat gets burned to Blu-Ray and taken off site.

Nice kit, i'v been looking at upgrading to DS1511+ 5x 3TB in RAID 10.

Whats the LG like.... Speed? Blu-Ray drive?

Not really a techie so for me it just works!
Its used in a SOHO environment which isn't particularly demanding but it's been reliable and its very competitively priced ... some reviews HERE
 
I use the following.

Working / editing - Fibrenetix Qube - fibrechannel raid unit 12TB Raid 6 to Atto raid card.

Backup - Apple XRaid 10.5TB Raid 5 fibrechannel also to Atto raid card.

All Unedited RAW files are backed upto Hard drives and blu ray for off site storage.
