Hi all :) after browsing alot of the photos on here and various sites i do notice that so many seem to have a complete black or white background (or solid colour of some sort)... and wonderd how is the best way to achieve this in the home wiithout access to studio gear?
All i have is my camera.. and a few lenses..... not even saved up for a dedicated flash yet :0( ( i know i know...)

So any ideas of a simple , easy way that isnt going cost money to get that pure, unblemished backgrounds i tend to see in so many pictures? :)

thanks for any advice...

If its just for portrait work then just hang a bedsheet up, full length shots generally need
a fair sized backdop. If you want it pure white though you will have to light it seperately
from the subject, which means more than one light source.
