Lots of this in the US - they like to make their own false floors with solid wood flooring / laminate and make a plasterboard wall and wallpaper it - have a look on this forum.

I find it a great forum for ideas and advice

I bought some vinyl fake floor from a carpet shop that does a great job and cheaply. The type of floor you see in the first one is pretty hard to come by over here - I managed to get some rolls of paper from Michaels (an art and craft shop) when I was last in the US which some of them use. Never seen anything like it over here, nor the "Barnwood floor" rugs (I think that's what is used in that photo) that I believe Urban Outfitters sell, but only in the US.

Are they Freedom Cloths in the second ones? No UK supplier as far as I know.. you'd have to import.

Wallpapers you can easily get over here though - and a bit of skirting board from B&Q and you're sorted. Sometimes people use shower curtains!

I do newborn photography too and spend a lot of time with Americans on various forums, and I was stunned when I was over there in May and just saw all this stuff we could never get over here just available. The camera shops alone are amazing, like having a decent branch of Calumet but in most towns like we have Jessops. They are so lucky!!
