Hi all,

Can any of you recommend a easy reliable back up software to back up my raw, and edited images from Lightroom 3 from external HD to another external drive? My light room images are exported to an external drive when I upload them. So I would like to back up the pics on that drive to another one.

Thanks in advance,

John

If you are planning on buying another external drive, then most retail ones will come with bundled software.
Most will be suitable enough to set for incremental, so you're only adding the most recent ones since the last sync, rather than doing a full back-up.
Alternatively if you already have a drive and caddy, then consider http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_backup_pc.php

LapLink have a great bit of backup software.

I use SyncToy, it's free from Microsoft and has worked well for a few years now.

Depending on your Operating System, (Win7 and 8) already have backup software.

rsync.... But then I like command line... :geek:

Another vote for MS sync toy. It has kept me out of trouble quiet a few times.

Mike - Cheers for that, I have used Laplink before (disk image) and they are good. |Please read post on link above provided by Mike where I offer a bit more information.
cheers
