I've got a very basic lighting set. But I'm after a back drop. What do people use? I'm not going to use it very often so I don't wanna spend to much. Any ideas please.

Well really as cheap as possible. And size I guess of around the 2.6 meter size.

£5, £10 ?? Can you translate into pounds and whether you want it to last or collapse on your subjects? Is 2.6m height or width? Are you doing full length portraits? If so you may find some of the pop up backgrounds a bit narrow but if you don't have much room traditional backdrops- stands and crossbar take up a lot of room. Hi-lites are pretty popular for their quick set up and small footprint but are relatively expensive and generally require 3 lights minimum.
A bit more info on intended use and max budget will help responses.

Well it just for use with step daughter and my baby daughter. I guess up to 40 pounds. I would like to be able to do full length of step daughter. She is 8. I would like it to last a few shoots but I know you get what you pay for.

A pop up might be ideal although I can't think of either pop up or stands/support/background for £40- doesn't mean they don't exist but I think it's pushing it.

Ones I know of for pop up (may also be better with cheap stand to support rather than lean against the wall as well but I'm sure you could make do)
