Baby killing cats?

Not wishing to take the other thread about the recent tragic killings of babies by pet dogs further off topic but having looked for stories about babies being killed by cats, the only apparently genuine story I could find was this one. However, looking at Snopes, it seems that the (unreported) real story was the equally tragic SIDS.

As for alphas in the cat (domestic) "world view", as any cat owner slave knows, as long as #1 (each individual cat) is looked after, they really don't give a Castlemaine! Cats rool any household they inhabit - generally with a paw of fur but occasionally with a claw of steel.
