B&W printing

I'm just about to buy an Epson R3000 so would be interested to know what papers you like for B&W printing.
I have just bought some Canson Edition Etching Rag to try and have used for some time Innova Smooth Cotton High White for colours so what others would you recommend just for B&W

most of the fibre based papers - rag papers lack decent Dmax

Ilford Multigrade.... but you can't use that in your Epson!

Yes, but that the easy way and you don't get the satisfaction of seeing your image coming out of the printer

expect they cost a bomb and can't print on such a varied range of papers

Ilford are very good indeed but are damned expensive if you're doing quantity.

I use Fotospeed papers, currently PF Gloss which is lovely, but I've just got some of their Baryta as a freebie but it's damned expansive to buy. Not tried it yet but I'm told it's very good with black and white.

But the paper they use is properly processed black and white photographic paper, not inkjet.
