B+W Circular Polarizer Slim or not

I am looking to buy a B+W Circular Polarizer for my EF-S 17-55. Do I need the slim version or will a standard filter be OK at the wide end.
 
I have a standard CP on my 16-35mm f2.8 and it is OK but only just. If I add anything else I lose wide to about 20mm.

Try adding two skylights or similar and see how badly it encroaches. A standard CP will be about 1.5x the thickness of a standard skylight.

Must admit that I recently replaced my B + W slim polariser, found the graduation difficult to get used to & often had way oversaturated results - changed to Hoya & I'm very happy with it
