Awesome!

Woo hoo, go you, Steve!

(I used to read that regularly, but gave up when he changed the RSS feed to a meaningless bit of gobbledegook. But well done you... still reading!)

Very nice set, Steve, and a great sequence once you realise they put all the descriptions one shot too early.

I realise I owned an Escort Mexico in Adelaide in the early 1970s, without realising that's what it was called. Very sporty job it was too.

Thanks Chris. I noticed the layout was mixed up slightly but I guess it still gets the theme across :0)

Good for you steve, great pictures too!

Well done mate, a lovely set and a very informative write up. I do quite like Steve Huff, seems a sensible sort of chap.

Andy

Thanks guys. I enjoy Steve Huffs' articles because of his honesty so it's really good to be included on his site :0)

Well done Steve, very good article and great to see your story on his site.

Great result, not surprised you're pleased. I quite like reading his stuff too.

Good stuff - Well done - all familiar scenes and well shot!

I love shooting 645 but need to get something I can use ND grads on - only got the FujiGS645S at the moment. This M645 looks a good buy!

Thanks for the compliments guys, much appreciated. I've been going through a bit of a photographic slump over the last few months with both film and digital. I've got two rolls of slide film from the Lake District that need to be developed but I'm not convinced there will be anything spectacular on them so I haven't sorted them yet.

However, seeing my shots go online and getting a buzz off it has really sparked me into shooting more so I'm planning on getting out over the next few weeks when I can. I'm also sorting out the last few parts to complete the slide frame I've been working on and intend on getting that out to some more people to trial.

Basically, I'm working on enjoying photography again :0)

Cheers
Steve

Yes, the M645 is an excellent camera and there are some bargains about. Nick (RaglanSurf) now shoots two instead of interchangeable backs :0) I swapped to the 645 Pro to give me options for multi-backs but the actual results are down to the lenses. I use a Cokin P filter system so I can swap the holder/filters between my Mamiya and Sony Nex.

Cheers
Steve

Congrats, Steve, some great shots and a very good write-up. I'll admit that although I've heard the name, I'd never done more than skim-read that site but it's going in my bookmarks now. Glad to hear it's got your mojo firing again too (y)

Great stuff!

I actually just read the article before coming on here and wondered if it was 'one of us'.
