Afternoon all

I'm looking at trying my hand at aviation photography, preferably military aircraft. Can anyone suggest some places to visit in and around Cambridgeshire or Essex?
Other than Duxford.

Lakenheath (F15s) or Mildenhall (transports etc) , Wattisham (helos) are the closest ones I can think of.

Thankyou mate, do you know what they are like for getting in to photograph? Is it best just to drop them an email before turning up?

Shuttleworth is well worth a visit as you get very close to the action plus some more unusual aircraft.

Another poss location to visit would be Conningsby, plenty of jet action plus visit the BBMF hanger at the same time.

Your recent photo's at Duxford have made me pay another visit tomorrow as only seem to go on show days normally and hanger photography is a non starter then due to people.
