Whatsapp also "hacked". This page: http://crave.cnet.co.uk/software/whatsapp-hacked-by-palestinian-protesters-site-defaced-50012438/ seems to suggest it was done by altering the DNS records which isn't really a hack....

A rather cheesy webpage supporting Palastine from one of the Anonynous collectives. The spelling was atrocious and the backing a sort of vaguely Slavic lift music.

Edit - same page was showing as for the WhatsApp story. "We have tow mwssages"..

DNS seemed much more likely. At least it means that they didn't manage to get into AVG itself, although hijacking DNS has pretty serious implications for AV updates for AVG users (yeah, that would be me then).
