Just looked in there for the first time in a while and notice it all has changed with a new look, the whole new look is in my opinion awful and I find it a strain on the eyes, anyone else think the same or it just me ?.

Its just a jumble IMO :(
 
I'm not a member either but was pointed towards it recently,

Flipping heck no wonder there are so many wonky horizons and OOF photos posted on the forums is there are so many people missing me...heck I'm no small target :suspect: :eek:

Anyway, shall scare the bejeebus out of the old fashioned types by telling them AVF have moved to same forum software we are about to go to.... :D







...or be nice and explain that whilst the underlying 'scaffolding' is the same, we aren't going to look or feel anything like that. :lol:

Well I cannot hide it can I :D though I am now worried about a hostile audience at a certain MegaMeet :( if my presentation goes bad does that mean I get shot :eek:

I've seen some screen shots it actually looks quite clean and nice :thumbs: if you look around marcel keeps posting the odd sneak peak

Them Maine Coons are very pretty from all the photos I've seen though, and I'm really not a cat person...not sure I fancy a cat fight though :eek:

There is more info in the forum update thread, but the gist is that this new one is much more 'scalable' than we are currently, so its much easier to use your phones browser to view the forum instead of the app. It automatically scales everything to be good in a small browser window and that's what Marcel was demonstrating with that screen grab

However, rest assured Mal, whilst it will look different to our current site, it won't be nearly as dramatically different as AVF and will still feel very much like TP but with a bit of spit and polish :thumbs:

Phew !.....YV, with a description like that I feel my fears have been allayed :).
 
The AVF one gives me a headache and looks crap. I used to browse it regular but will be giving it a miss now.

It does my head in as well, especially when scrolling, there is something just not right when you do that.
