Managed to take advantage of the calm before the storm and visited Winkworth arboretum on Thursday.
Some nice colours but still probably a few days before things are at their very best. There are still a lot of trees fully green, although they make a good contrast to the reds and yellows of some that have changed already.

Friday I went to Scotney Castle.
Not quite so spectacular but some nice colours in places, although still probably not quite advanced enough.
After the forecast gales this weekend who knows what these will look like next week?
