That guy has done a few threads on this sort of thing, and i dropped him a message regarding making a rig and he know's his stuff, drop him a message if you like the look of his stuff (personally i think it's amazing)

No worries mate, i'm supposed to be shooting my mates s14a tomorrow, fingers crossed! No rig though just tripod and security lighting![]()
Thanks for that, i'm assuming that these are the right bits and pieces:

do the clamps fit directly onto the cups listed above? also, any idea what the specs of your tubing are? already got the remote release, and i'll be rigging up some form of wire attachment just in case the magic arm does happen to fail (i'll be paranoid about that happening)
Those are what I run
The tubing is a secret I'm afraid. Just find something that doesn't flex too much
don't forget that you do the rig shots at a very slow speed so you can walk along with the camera and hold the strap if you need to.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Specifically DIYing it yourself with suction mounts/poles? I'm talking something like this:

I'm selling some of my gear soon - suction cups, clamps and magic arm if you are interted
What colour?

Dark green :shake: doesn't make for the most interesting of shots but it's in pretty good nick and he's got rep lip's on his wheels
Here's a link of it on his page, it is SO low

Sorry to highjack the thread mate![]()
