So I bought a new macro lens for my D850 (Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro Lens), I've been testing it out and I've noticed the sound the D850 makes when autofocusing is different from my other lens.
All my other lenses make a smooth subtle sound when autofocusing. On the new lens the sound is more audible and not smooth. Does anyone anyone have any ideas of what might cause this? Or do some lens cause louder autofocus sounds? I don't have a huge lens collection to compare to, I only have 3 other lens, 2 of which are other Sigmas which again make smooth autofocus sounds.
My main concern is that if there is a problem with the lens it could be damaging the autofocus system on the D850.
Let me know what you think, thanks.
