hiyaa,

i need to write an essay for college, in the area of photogrpahy that i am interested in.
i am interested in concert photography.
i have just started the course and so i know very little. however in the essay i need to compare 2 photogrpahers, one that made important work 25 years ago and one that is making important work now in the area i am interested in (concert photography)

i have looked on loads and loads of websites but i just cant seem to find any, if anyone knows of any please will you let me know.

I can't help with the photographer 25 years ago but I know I've read an article in the camera magazine about this guy who has made a name for himself in the music industry. Not just doing concert shots but also music artists portraits. His stuff was really good, interesting and modern.

I'm at work right now but if nobody else can tell you his name before I get home then I'll find the article and come back to you with his name.

The guys name is Chris Davidson and the interview I read was in Digital SLR User magazine, September 2007; if you can get hold of a copy.
