I think this forum is where these might be most appreciated. :) This little project has taken some time to complete but it’s finally done. A few weeks ago I found an old Asahi Takumar Pentax case on eBay for peanuts and decided to grab it and renovate it and then modify it slightly to store my Takumar lenses in. I replaced the foam inside at the sides of the case, tidied the velvet lining and added B044 case dividers, each of which is foam lined to keep the lenses well protected.

Inside the case is an old, well worn, black Pentax Spotmatic F, filters, hoods and the following lenses:

28mm f/3.5
50mm f/1.4 8 Element
55mm f/1.8
55mm f/2.0
85mm f/1.9
150mm f/4

Excellent restoration job and nice collection. I'd love one of those cases for my Pentax stuff. I particularly;y like that you have proper lens caps on all your Takumar lenses. Well done and I'm sure you are pleased with that yourself.

Thankyou, Lindsay, yes, I'm very pleased with how it turned out. In practical terms, the lenses fit almost mm perfect so they don't move at all yet don't need to be dragged out. I do plan to put some small stages into those slots used by the 28, 50 and 55mm lenses as those can be a tad tricky to get your fingers round.
