I got an email from them last week congratulating me on using my broadband to its potential.
Apparently I downloaded 315GB last Month. :-)

Light weight, we used 359GB :)

Netflix etc really eat data :D

That's a lot of spam to get ................ :D

Hmm. My wife's BT broadband is capped at 10GB and they keep badgering her to 'upgrade' but we've never managed to get anywhere near it!

Guessing you don't stream stuff at all. Netfix, Amazon Prime etc or use Sky On Demand.
The xbox one's use quite a bit too, especially if you use them for youtube :)

I don't stream anything like Netflix or amazon , I don't even have virgin or sky TV only freeview.
The internet provides :-)

I don't actually know what streaming is, so no. Don't have television or an xbox either.

I kicked "live" TV to the kerb years ago and now get all my world info from the 'net using a dongle from Three.

Got really p****d off with all the repeats etc and the crappy adverts every 5 minutes on "live" TV.

Now, with the money saved, I can buy boxsets etc from Amazon and Ebay and watch them at my own pace without a single ad.

Currently watching Breaking Bad, Continuum, Kingdom etc.

Much better and much less stressful, and, joy of joys, didn't have to listen to a single cretinous MP spouting lunatic platitudes during the recent election - so much better!

It also highlights how much advertising there really is due to the length of the actual programme segments getting smaller - eg Two and a Half men, nominally 30 minutes each episode is really only about 20 mins.
