Hi all,
Quick question, would love to go to donna nook this half term hols, if the seals are there, and preferably if some have maybe had their pups? Would they be up there? I am talking about up near fence in the dunes BTW :)
thanks
Bill

The last report i saw was that there are some Bulls & Cows on the beach but no pups yet , that was from wed 20th oct.:)

I'll be up there and looks like Cosmix as well a week fri-sun :)

Yes, i`m taking my club this weekend................

I got it pencilled in to take wife n kids end Nov 27 or 28 Nov. Is that too late ?

That would be a good time , there are usually a lot up by the fence/dunes then .
I have taken some brill photos at the end of november , best time is early morning weekdays , starts getting busy after 9.30 ish.:)

Thought it was closed in the week due to MOD firing?

Anywhere on the net there's a sightings blog kinda thing?

thanks

Its no problem up by the dunes .

176 Adults & 35 Pups .

I went today as well :D Got some alright shots, think i went a bit too late in the day didn't have much time with good light of the seals near the fence because of the dunes behind casting a shadow! There not all there yet though, i think I will go back in the xmas hols, there will probably be more older pups as well then which have come closer to the fence for some close ups (close ups via my 436mm lens, not by stick my camera in there faces like some muppets) like i got last year:
( now i look back this is so over sharpened lol but i had only been properly photographing for a month or so, so i will let myself of!)

I'm visiting in a couple of weeks time and really looking forward to seeing lots of seals.
