Are Nikon teleconverters weather sealed?

I've just hired a Nikon TC-14 III from @StewartR 's company for Silverstone this weekend, and whilst my D750 and 70-200mm are weather sealed is the system still sealed if I add the TC?

Ah, so its your fault Ive got to put up with a TC-14 II on my rental then ? ;)

You could have asked us, you know. ;)

We wouldn't have said "yes" because that's asking for trouble - there are people out there who would equate that to "waterproof" and then blame us when it doesn't work after they've been swimming with it. But we would have pointed you to the same advice from Nikon as posted by @gramps.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I could've done couldn't I :facepalm: :lol:

Not to worry anyway, it's not seen a drop of rain, I was using a different lens without the TC yesterday when it was raining but took a rain sleeve anyway.

Fingers crossed Lewis can turn pole into another win today (y)

Lol. You too, where're you at race day?

I took my own food on Friday but but the bullet and bought lunch at the track yesterday, £7.50 for a pulled pork sandwich :mad:

No, I'll not be moving from our seats today (club corner). Won't be many pics taken today, only taking the camera in case Lewis wins so I can take pics of the podium. Struggled to get many clean shots this weekend, the fencing's a nightmare. Think I've got a few I'm not too embarrassed to share though ;) Here's one for now.
