Little Miss Western has a habit of catching me out on this day in years gone past - last year I had a 'parking ticket' stuck to my windscreen (we live off a private road..)

This year I thought I'd try to catch her out so turned on the computer in the hope that I might be able to google a clever idea.

Took me a minute to work out what was happening....

I 'invited' 10 members of staff to a 'fire alarm sounding' training course for today. A few twigged, three turned up!
 
Yorkshire Wildlife Park tried it with a photo of a pink Polar Bear due to gorging on Salmon.

Actually, I was told yesterday that the guy who originally sent them the photo was not too happy about them altering it :D
Also, while snapping away at the bears, a young woman behind me was telling her friend about the pink bear over indulging in salmon. I turned round and said "you do realise that was a April Fool thing don't you."
After bit of embarrassed giggling, one of them then asked "what was the real cause of it then?" :D
