MacWorld published an article about a little app called Touché. . It emulates the touchbar on the Macs screen. It's a bit of fun and works with Apple applications and non as well, but is a bit limited to non Apple ones. Works fine with Final Cut but only a limited no of commands
Note you will need the latest version of Sierra for it to work. It's the version that was released on the 27 October. There are links to the updated OS in the article. Not sure I'd use it as I have keyboard overlays that perform the same tasks, but to be honest I know most of the "shortcuts " that I use by heart by now.
Anyway its a bit of fun
