so i have a old macbook pro17inch and been having problems with it
the old battery basically split in half so i cam to conclusion it was battery fault
no here is where it gets intresting
i ordered a new battery from amazon worked fine for 2 weeks went on holiday come back and battery flat / maybe faulty went to amazon and out of warranty / replacement for some reason so ordered the same battery this one has worked for 4 hours when i hit the button the battery it shows 1 bar the charger shows green not orange and the old battery has no lights at all
is there a way of testing without spending stupid money for a shop to check it out
im stuck on this now i think it may be the charger but why does it show green and the battery shows as been flat
