Apple calendar sync with google

Hi all.
Having just changed tablet to an iPad, I was wondering if anyone knew a way of syncing the calendar
With google calendar, if at at possible......

It's pretty straightforward once you're used to the fact that you should be using the Exchange type account for Gmail on iOS. Some instructions on setting it up here.

Yes pretty simple, I use it between work computer, 2 macbooks, iphone and ipad.

go to the apple store Andy! They're brilliant in Southampton, they'll sort it for you (if you're like me and it goes over your head due to brain-clutter)

I have set up my google account in Mail and it connects to G.calendar as well

Now I get too many notifications of one and the same thing across all devices!

I started using Google calendar/mail/contacts when I had an android phone and stuck with it, although now just use the calendar service and have switched contacts to iCloud. My gmail account is used for some mailing lists and for items where I need to sign up but want somewhere I can avoid spam from my normal mailboxes.

You can get the ipad to show multiple google calendars, just needs some odd playing in a browser first to get the other calendars to appear.
