Yes
I have a GX1 and wanted to use Aperture 3 to process my RAW files; as yet no support. I have never needed to wait for file support by Apple before - does anyone have any idea how long it takes Apple to do a support update?

I don't know Lightroom and not sure that is my best route. I am fairly used to CS5 but no longer have that, but thinking on getting PSE10 (that does have the plug in) but obviously would rather crack on with Aperture if an update is just around the corner.

You could try the Adobe DNG converter.

Thanks Lewis. Have given it a go and it says it has converted them, they still don't work in Aperture. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and buy PSE10. Thanks for taking the time to answer though.

My recommendation would be to shoot RAW+JPEG. Aperture will store both and you can view and edit the JPEGs. You then have the option to delete them once RAW support for the GX1 is available ( or just keep both).

[ By the way, RAW support is a feature of Mac OS, not of Aperture itself. DNG is definitely supported, so you might want to experiment / Google a bit more if you definitely want to go that way - dont see the point myself though. ]
