I seem to remember reading something about being able to use an iphone's tracking data to geo-tag SLR pictures in aperture. Can't for the life of me remember where I read it. Anybody able to point me in the right direction? Or even better, anybody doing this?

Many ways lead to Rome ;-)

1. Could take a photo on the iPhone and use that 'Place pin' to copy the rest of the photos on top.

2. Use one of the many waypoint trackers or geo trackers to track the route that you travelled. Aperture can import those routes and match with the time and place the photo along that route.

3. Using two, run them through one of the many sync tools prior to importing in Aperture and it will match the locations to the time recorded in the image and enter the location details in the exif.

Just make certain your time is set correctly on all your devices :-)
