Anyone work for Jessops[finance help]

I believe jessops offer some finance scheme just wanted some insite into what they offer before I take a walk down my local store on friday.

Is it instant as in I can walk out the shop with new camera same day or does it take some time to do checks and such?
Also do they offer buy now pay 6months scheme as in don't want to pay a monthly chunk and end up with huge finance deal.

I bought my D300 from Jessops last December on 6 months interest free credit. I signed some forms there and then, they did some computer checks that gave instant results and I walked out the door within half an hour with my camera. I had the option to make monthly payments but I waited until the 6 months was up and paid the balance off in full (plus £29 admin fee).

I think you need to spend over £300 to get 6 months interest free and over £1000 to get 12 months interest free.

I would have thought the Jessops website would have more details on it.

I wanted a 1d on credit about 4 years back, 12 months interest free.

If they don't have the camera in-store, they have to order and receive it before they try to process the finance.

I was unfortunate, as I had to wait 2 weeks for the camera to arrive, then when I went to collect it, the finance was rejected.

I beleive the finance was through Clydesdale, or it was in Aberdeen at that time.
The credit check was done online in the store and immediately.
