Anyone used simply electronics?

There are plenty of threads with lots of poor customer service, I wouldn't use them.

Simply Electronics are quite simply, a grey market dealer. Hence the warranty supplied is their own and not from the factory.

I used them once and it took two to three weeks for the item to arrive even though according to their site, it was in stock.

Hope this helps

That's why their prices look very tempting, I personally wouldn't deal with them, lots more reputable dealers out there. Have a word with Stuart at Digital Depot, can recommend them very highly.

I've used Simply three times and not had a problem.

However, warranty is 3rd party as they are (as others have said) a grey importer.

Try Kerso, the price will probably be as good and although he is an importer you get a UK honoured invoice/warranty.

I've never heard a bad word said about the guy and have since used him myself for an S90. (A mate of mine bought a 5Dmk2 body off him too with no problems).

I ordered a 24-105 on Monday, they took my money on Tuesday and I'm still waiting for the lens to be posted. Fingers crossed for today!

i saw something on Simply Electronics, along with camerabox, digital fusion but for the sake of 10-15% savings i'll rather go to a reputable dealer, highstreet store i'm thinking

only used once, took a bit longer but no problem. lots of negatives about them but I've not seen anyone lose money with them......

Not had any problems myself, but then I've only got smaller items or lenses from them.
