Wondering what the print quality etc is like?
Anyone used 'Photographique' printers, Bristol ?

Hmm, I'm going to keep an eye on this thread ... didn't know they even existed.
I want to know too. They do all sorts, including film developing. It's not cheap but I'm assuming it's a professional service, though I've yet to use them. A camera shop near to them scanned badly so I will try them and let you know what I think.

I have used them for printing before & not bad results in all honesty. They were on Baldwin Street then but have since moved I think.....
Not used them myself but they've only moved around the corner from their old premises on to Clare St. You could try Clifton Colour if you're looking for processing in Bristol. A fair number of local photographers use them.

I'll secomd the recommendation for Clifton Colour - always get good results - but it would be good to have alternatives locally.
Hi, I have used them twice recently, they use Fuji processing, all looks very modern and swanky in there, lots of lomo cameras, frames and films for sale.
Both times I used them the prints came back with a blue tint and a bit dark.
I had a few prints redone as I was not happy and second time around they were much better.
The staff were a bit dismissing when I said I was not happy with the colour of the prints. Got the feeling they were trying to fob me off. Felt like if you were not in their in crowd they looked down their nose at you.
As someone who worked as a colour handprinter for several years in professional labs I was expecting better giving their set up. £12 for a set of prints on 24 hour service deserves better grading and adjustment, if I wanted average I would pay £6 or £7 with a mail order or high street chain.
Next time I will try out the other camera shop just up the road, they have an Afga set up, I much prefer the fuji but if your process is out of tolerance or the guy operating it is colour blind it may be better to try else where.
Plus points, negs handled well, no finger prints or scratches, good location, good choice of lomo cameras and exhibition space inside.

I had used them a couple years ago, and simply decided DSCL output was clearly better at a fraction of price. My feeling is they try to align themselves with hipsters and film shooters that must buy local...
