Anyone used Park camera's?

Yep most of my kit comes from them, they are close to me so I just wander to the shop (expensivecos I always spend more then I intended), very helpful and never had a problem if something goes wrong

Very good shop for browsing but I find them expensive. To give an example I saw a camera bag in there I liked but thought it was dear in Park Cameras. Used the internet and got it for half the price.

I've used them for a 28mm Sigma lens. Good, quick service. They don't offer as much as MPB Photograhic for part-ex's though.

Not that it's especially relevant to this query however... I'll stop talking now shall i?... probably best. And yet i continue. etc etc repeat to fade.

Used Park Cameras quite a bit, very helpful staff, and if you check prices can sometimes get a competitive price - just bought an ef-s 15-85 unboxed for £539 which is similar to elsewhere plus I can pick it up, no worries about delivery etc. Got a good deal on a tripod as well, guy was very helpful as not all the stock was on display.

Must say have also never had a problem with Park Cameras and as said the staff seem very knowledgeable although their prices aren't the cheapest. However they do except Trade Ins and sell other second hand products as well. I would have no problem using them again.

I've used Park Cameras a fair amount as they're pretty close to me.
I've found them to be very helpful and they normally have the items in stock.

simply buy in grey market goods, which i havent a problem with but others have, park cameras will be uk stock and are very reputable to my mind, bought most of my pricey lenses from them and their prices are usually quite good.

Lately i have been using digital depot, uk stock again and their prices mostly are very good, they are on this forum too so bung them a pm, if its canon stock then kerso is a good supplier also on this forum.

HTH

I've used simply a few times. and each time was fine. Goods arrived by the date they gave. Maybe I was lucky...who knows. All products were boxed/sealed/guaranteed and original(look like the real thing), and good prices. My last order was from HK which I was a little surprised by, however I soon got over that when I took out my new purchase and 'played'

And me fast and what l wanted 24-70 2.8MMMMMMMM no complains here.

Park Cameras are solid, reliable dealers. All their stock is UK designated so you are assured of full warranty cover. They are pretty knowledgeable and also run courses including one to one sessions. A hire facility is also available for Canon equipment but that may be only to CPS members.

Prices can be surprisingly good. Like all things, if you want the best prices you have to shop around. I have bought from them in the past and can highly recommend this dealer.

More recently I was booked on a course at Parks but run by an external lecturer. The course was cancelled at short notice by the lecturer who was double-booked. Due to a glitch in the email system, the notification didn't get to me and I turned up having driven from London. Park Cameras were quick to refund the cost of the course and offered me a place on either a one to one session which could be arranged at a convenient time or a place on the same course which was to be held at a later date. Very honorable of them I would say and scores Park Cameras top marks in my books.

Hope this helps

There ok for certain things like monitor calibration kits etc.

For lenses HDEW or the infamous Kerso is your best bet.

Dare I say it camerabox too although there are mixed reports about them they always deliver, always come through and only sell stuff in stock.

Park are good because you can actually walk into their shop, but if you're not local there's relevance.

I really like Park, but only if I'm buying in-store. Buying online is a real pain - not only will they not deliver to one's work address (so you have to take a day or two off work) but they refuse to give customers any tracking info for 'security' purposes.

For online purchases WEx are normally the same price and don't have all them stupid restrictions.
