I was thinking of one of these to duplicate a load of slides I have and them possibly use to scan film negs, Have any of you ever used them ? Am I going to run into probs with a crop sensor as most of these seemed to be made in the Film days so you would be replicating 35mm neg/slide on 35mm film ?

Thanks all.

For a sensor smaller than full frame, you'll need a zoom version that goes down to .6X, like this Ohnar...

...the BlueTak on this one is to keep the slide carrier where I want it. Older units have a tendency to loosen up with use. The results can be very good and you don't need to focus because the lens is preset at something like F22.

Prices very tremendously - this one cost me about £12 seven or eight years ago but I've seen silly money asked.
