It's probably gotten a bit cliched and overused now but I'll be at the Olympic Velodrome tomorrow and Sunday for some Track Cycling and thought it might be worth experimenting with.

Has anyone tried one before, are they fairly simple to get to grips with or is there a lot of trial and error involved? Tempted to rent one for the weekend.

Cheers

I'm biased as I really like tilt shift and would love to see the results.

Have a look on't Getty website for the FA Cup final last season. One of the guys was using one there

Cheers guys, didn't rent one in the end, thought I'd practise my panning instead with very mixed results! Should have gone for more side on shots of the riders going straight, rather than turning I think.

Also wish I had something wider than a 24mm, stupidly thought that would be good enough to get the whole track in shot, but sadly was nowhere near.

I'm doing the BUCS athletics at the Olympic Stadium in May. Might give this a go.
