As an update for this. I bought a Rogue 9l from WEX this week having checked that I could return it if it didn't meet my needs. Suffice to say it's not going back...
Firstly it's the perfect size I was after. I've tried it with my Z8 fitted with the 24-70/2.8s, along with the 85/1.2 and it fits that. It also fits the Z8 fitted with the 400/4.5, although you wont fit much else in it other than maybe a TC without things rolling around but that's good enough if I'm off out for shooting wildlife. So for me that works perfectly.
Secondly it's the most comfortable sling I've ever tried. Even with the Z8, 24-70, & 85mm it's really comfortable.
Oh and thirdly, I got it in the burnt orange colour and honestly it looks great and not much like a camera bag really.
Seems well made and so far I can recommend it.
