Looking at SPUSU (EE) mobile for an eSIM as backup to my Smarty (3/Vodafone) SIM.
Don't know anything about them apart from 'Internet chatter' so looking for any firsthand experience.

Been with them for a month or 2, EE network so no problems there.
But the voicemail feature is strange. All other providers I've ever used you could assign a number to a long press key -1 normally as it has the icon.
Not with SPUSU though, each text notification that you have a voicemail seems to include an incremental number to call to retrieve the message. To delete a voicemail you press 1 and it just cuts you off immediately so be sure you want to delete a message and if you want to keep one you'll need to note down the number for that voicemail.

Thanks - I read somewhere that it was possible to set voicemail to email you with a .wav file of the message. Have you come across that?

Yes, I remember seeing it somewhere now you mention. You also have to upload a wav file of your outgoing voicemail message.
All a bit of a faff in my books, and I get enough spam emails as is. But I'm happy to tolerate it for good signal, relatively cheap calls and data on a monthly contract until I look to upgrade.
Anything being better than 3 for the last few months!
