I recently shot a box of our of date velvia. It went out of date on the 12/08 so it should in theory be ok still one should think.
After sending the exposed films off at the weekend, i got them back today and took a look when i got in from work. From the batch i have nothing thats useable!! its so frustrating, i had made some nice exposures ect, only for them to be ruined by the film shifting in colour to orange/red.
What im interested to know, is this a common thing with out of date velvia, or could it prehaps be a mistake on the part of the company who developed them?
Needless to say its back to the drawing board and some revisited locations for this one!
